Hey there

Everything on this site is handmade by me, Ásta, either thrown on the wheel or hand built. I’m based in Reykjavík and often use local materials in my work.

Only a few items are left on my website. I opened my shop at the beginning of August and didn’t know what to expect. Some of the wood fired pieces from last month. These feel so special to me. A glimpse into a ceramics wood firing at @nyp.house in the West of Iceland. It was such a beautiful weekend 🥺 Stepping into autumn today 🍂 summer was brief and beautiful. Living in Iceland can be challenging sometimes but I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else during these few months. Turning my phone into a landline every evening 💆‍♀️
